This fabulous villa is located on the golfing development of Costa Esuri, has five bedrooms most with en-suite facilities and sits on a plot of more than 1,000 sq. mtrs with a private pool and landscaped gardens. The villa is fully air conditioned with heating for the cooler months. Cleverly designed to make the most of the spectacular views, the villa is built on a sloping plot with the entrance level in the middle of the property.

Electric gates open from the road to the front of the villa where there is ample parking for 2 cars and a long drive to the right of the house. Decorative wrought iron gates open from the porch to an internal Andalucian courtyard complete with fountain. Bedroom 3 is off this courtyard and has twin beds, large wardrobes and an en suite shower room. From the courtyard the front door leads into the light and airy entrance hall from where stairs lead up to the first floor.

Bedroom two is just off the main entrance hall and has a king size bed, ample wardrobe space and an en suite shower room. The large, well equipped kitchen and a spacious open plan dining room with a large table and 10 dining chairs are also on this entry level. Patio doors from both the kitchen and dining room lead onto a large covered terrace (35 sq mtrs), a real feature of the property. Here there is dining furniture for 10 so you can make the most of the beautiful views over the countryside when dining al fresco.

Stairs from the hallway lead down to the lower ground floor hall where there are a further two bedrooms each with twin beds and a large shower room. There is also a second lounge (25 sq mtrs) with sofas, TV, DVD player etc and patio doors giving direct access to the lower gardens and swimming pool. From the lower hallway there is a separate enormous games room (41 sq mtrs) with something for everyone. There is a pool table, a table tennis table, a football table and games to keep the young and young at heart busy whatever the weather!

The staircase up to the first floor leads to a galleried landing from where the very generously proportioned master bedroom suite is located. This room is very light and airy and has huge built in wardrobes offering ample storage space. There is a full sized en suite bathroom with a bath and shower over, two basins, WC and bidet. There is a large king size leather bed in this room, bedside tables and a dressing table. From the landing is an additional cloakroom.

The lounge is also on this level to take advantage of the elevated views. It is a lovely light and spacious room and has a fireplace for the winter months. There are 2 large sofas and a modern chaise longue. For your entertainment there is a large plasma TV, DVD, British freeview channels and Spanish TV. Three sets of patio doors lead out to the large open terrace where there is more modern, comfortable seating and ever more beautiful views of the Guadiana River and across to Portugal. A winding staircase leads from the terrace to an upper rooftop terrace with a covered area and panoramic views.

The gardens are planted to lawn and native flowering shrubs. Steps lead down to the lower level of the garden where you will find a lovely swimming pool with outdoor shower and sun loungers. Or why not just lay back and relax in the swinging hammock! Golfers can benefit from the special offer of temporary membership courtesy of the owner with half price green fees and buggy hire and discounts in the restaurant and pro shop. On the resort of Costa Esuri there is a mini supermarket selling the essential groceries and daily fresh bread. You can sit outside and enjoy a coffee or a glass of beer. This is approximately 10 minutes walk from the villa and is the perfect place to sit and watch the sun set over the Guadiana river and Portugal in the distance.

The golf club house has a bar, restaurant, driving range and pro shop also offering various activities and events throughout the year. The club house also has an ample sized terrace with spectacular views of the the green.

The golf course has a Par 72 .

Ayamonte and Costa Esuri are easily reached by the IP 1 motorway which links Spain and Portugal. Low cost airlines fly to both Seville airport (90 mins drive away) and Faro airport (45mins drive away). Car hire form both airports is well organised and reasonably priced. Transfers can be arranged if required.

Visit the nearby border town of Ayamonte (10 mins) where you will find some fantastic fresh fish and seafood, great tapas bars and boutiques. Meander through the delightful pedestrianised streets and stop in one of the palm tree lined squares to watch the world go by.
The nearest beach is at Isla Canela (Spain) or Praia Verde (Portugal) where you will be amazed at the beautiful wide golden sands.
All year round there is a go kart track in Cartaya (30 mins) and in high season there is also a water park to keep the young at heart amused. Huelva and La Rabida (approx 45 mins) offer history and a chance to discover about Christopher Columbus (Cristobal Colon). Further on is the National Park of Doñana where if you are very lucky you may spot the elusive Iberian Lynx. The whole area is fantastic for bird watching with many different species guaranteed.
Further afield into Portugal are the touristy delights of the central Algarve (1hr), Tavira (25 mins) and the nearest town of Villa Real de San Antonio (10 mins) along with lovely beaches and lots of golf courses. Faro airport is approximately 60km and Seville 130km.
A car is recommended to get the most from your holiday.

The apartment is on the 5th floor, accessed by a lift and has some superb views of the countryside, town, beach and in the distance the border town of Ayamonte in Spain.

Monte Gordo is a busy town all year round. The beach is beautiful, with wide golden sands, straw sun parasols and sun loungers to hire. There are lots of bars, restaurants, shops and boutiques in the town giving the place a great atmosphere whatever time of year you visit. On the seafront is the Casino which is open to non members and offers a year round entertainment programme often including dinner and a show.

The Eastern Algarve in general is usually less expensive, less touristy, more Portuguese and often more friendly than the central Algarve. The popular historical town of Tavira is only 20 mins away. There are lots of places to hire bicycles from in the town centre so you can really explore all the natural beauty this area has to offer. In the nearby town of Vila Real do Santo Antonio you can catch a ferry across the river Guadiana to Spain and visit the beautiful town of Ayamonte - two countries in one holiday!

For golfers there are many excellent golf courses within 10-20 mins drive. These include Benamor, Castro Marim, Quinta da Ria, Quinta da Cima, the excellent Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course at Monte Rei and the Seve Ballesteros designed course at Quinta do Vale. Across the Spanish border still within 15-20 minutes are Isla Canela, Islantilla and the highly rated course at Costa Esuri (Ayamonte). A little further afield are the 2 El Rompido courses and Dunas de Donana.

Just around the corner from the apartment is a nature reserve so why not explore the gecko trail through the nature reserve by the seafront.
If you have a car there is plenty of parking with a short walk of the apartment. For those arriving by taxi or public transport there is a good local bus service.

There are plenty of glasses, crockery, cooking utensils etc. There is a dining table for 6, a dishwasher to make light work of the washing up, a fridge freezer, microwave and toaster.
